compared to the horror stories i heard from my seniors and batchmates abt their grp, of which there are pple with attitude problem. they were being abused by kids aged 9-12. WOW

I TOLD YOU I WOULD BLOG. whee.... but it's not like anyone comes here anymore. ): so sad can. after we split class, we aren't exactly very close anymore. just occasional "HIs" along the corridor. but it jus isn't the same anymore. no more nonsense in class, shouting, screaming. even now when we see each other, we also don't know what to say.

but no matter what, we know that we'd be there for each other. now and always. even if we don't ever talk again, even if we don't have anything to talk about, we know that when we're down and out, there are 34 other three-ians standing by us, moraly supporting and encouraging us. our time together as a class may have been short-lived, and the pictures we took may fade away, but the precious memories of those happy moments will linger on forever in our minds and hearts. love yall.

XD yayy. ok. i'm like really bored. i'm taking a break in between doing my geog hw.. haish. there's so much hw today.. and i came home at like.. 8? then by the time i ate, clear up, bathe.. 8.45. then called boonie to talk to her abt RS. then by the time i start on my homework it's already 9. and what have i done so far? let's see..
i read.. geog textbook page 6-10 and did some notes and i did 85% of a geog worksheet. in one and a half hours?? that's quite slow.. but i was really doing work the whole time! just that i felt so sleepy in my room because the air con was on and it was so comfortable.. so i decided to go do my work in the dining room and i was much more awake.

so the moral of the story is to not do homework/study in your bedroom with the aircon on as it's too comfy so you won't get any work done. (:

right.. after moral of story comes "the end." so.. THE ＥＮＤ．lol. that's like so spastic.

Erm...hi people-who-will-be-103-ers-forever-in-their-heart,

Sorry but this is the first time I am blogging in the class blog...so I am pretty stranger here (but of course I came to the class blog before to read the posts).

What I am about to post in this...um...post, is a letter I have written to THE PERSON WHO SPLIT US INTO DIFFERENT CLASSES. But before that, let's read a disclaimer I have before you proceede to the letter. (:P)

Disclaimer:
This letter which is posted in this blog is not to be sent to THE PERSON WHO SPLIT US INTO DIFFERENT CLASSES (even though i wrote that it was for S/HE) because firstly, we don't know who s/he is and secondly, this letter is only to express my feelings for and about 103'05, and it might be very likely to offend THE PERSON WHO SPLIT US INTO DIFFERENT CLASSES and thus putting me, your poor friend/classmate, into grave danger. Thank you.

To THE PERSON WHO SPLIT US INTO DIFFERENT CLASSES,
To start of the letter, first, I must say some good things about your re-arranging classes idea (just like any normal functioning person) so as to appease the anger in you which might arise once you finish the letter (even though I don't see much good in the re-arrangement of the classes, but I am trying my very best thank you very much). Firstly, the best reason I can come up with is that if we are in classes with different people all the time, we will be able to enlarge our social circle, which might be true, and good for us. It will also improve our social skills for the future when we are thrust into the harsh environment of the society. Also, if we know many people under the sun, when we grow up (like everybody else) and are faced with many problems we can find many people to help us (for example we borrow money from loansharks and am unable to return the money, we can ask our friends for help, even thought they would most probably turn their backs on us).
Anyway, back to what this letter is for. Complaining.
What is so wrong with our class? Why do we have to be split up?
First things first. Let me list out what is so NOT wrong with our class:
-We have totally no problem students, thus proving that we are a great class with people who hang out together nicely. We have gatherings to strenghthen our bond so that we can stay friends (and THE PERSON WHO SPLIT US INTO DIFFERENT CLASSES broke us up :( )
-We co-operate very well with each other. I remember the first week of school and we acted the Nightingale skit and got the most bubbly class award, and i believe we lived up to the name, didn't we, even though people didn't notice it, but we knew we are the greatest class with the greatest people in it! Secondly, we won the Racial Harmony Day! That was such a happy moment for all one-oh-three-ers. Thinking about the fact that we would not be able to share that joy that our hard work had paid off with all of the 103-ers is making me sad...and I believe, making all of them sad too. Ok...so we didn't really win everything, but I believe, along with other people (i hope), that the process is always the most important of all. And in our case, the process sometimes might include some arguements (but they go away soon), lots of fun and endless bonding. Although no.1 is important (so as to show 103 is the best! :P), the process is important too. (Ok...so I sound pretty politically correct but we can't tell the whole world that we love being number one- OOPS...) So...I know that we didn't win Drama Nite, and I didn't go watch the performance (big clue on who I am), but I know that everyone put in their best...not totally because I know that 103 can do it, and not totally because we are 103ers and are capable, but because Pei Ying aka TKPY complained to me:
"I tell you arh...103 should have gotten first one lor...I even heard the class which got 2nd said that 103 should have gotten better than them. The judges all so bad one...don't know how to see...103's ancient egypt very nice what...why are we 3rd? Unfair unfair unfair!"
Ok...pei ying really did say that (something like that) but I know that we have done our best and we will always be first in our hearts.
So, to THE PERSON WHO SPLIT US UP INTO DIFFERENT CLASSES, I want to tell you that I have not really felt being IN my class when I was in primary school (not all, but some), but I seriously felt part of the class in secondary 103'05, Raffles Girls' School. And I want to complain:
WHY DON'T YOU JUST LET US CONTINUE BEING IN A CLASS????!!!!????!!!!
And also, a list on why we should not split up:
-We are actually a not bad class, even a good one, because everyone gets along well with most of the people, and THE PERSON WHO SPLIT US INTO DIFFERENT CLASSES should very well appreciate it, and might not really find such a good combination of students. :)
-If people in our class cannot take the fact that we have split up and go crazy or something because most of the people in our class love 103 very much...and feel proud of being called a 103-er...and if she really does go crazy....yikes.
(P.S. the previous point about a person being crazy will probably not be true, but hopefully THE PERSON WHO SPLIT US UP is reading this might go crazy. )
I hope you finally get my point that 103 is a very good class, and that even if I am split up from it (and I am, sadly,) I will always be a 103/05 student, the short rambutan sitting at the corner down there, in front of the teacher's table.

(So please tell me now that there was a malfunction in the inet and that everyone in 103'05 will be promoted to the same class together. Thank you.)

HEY EVERYONE! After lots and lots of remincing reflecting, I've decided to post something. (: And this is also triggered after looking at the class photos taken by Junru's camera (saw the pics at her webshots).

Anyway, this is the 2nd post I've updated in the class blog. The first one was just full of shit.

I just want to be honest here. Our class has a clique problem, not serious, but there's still a clique problem. Like there's just groups where they'll group together in PE, go together during Recess, and stuff like that. And I'm not proud to say that I haven't really opened up to the people in class. Well, it's just that after the 3rd term, during the 4th term or so, I've realized that there were alot of people in class whom I know nothing about- other than their names. It's quite saddening actually, to come to a realization like that, after spending a year together. Maybe it's cos I just stick to...a few people. That's quite sad ):

But it's okay! Cos our class is still very bonded anyway. I think we're actually one of the more bonded Sec1 class and that's totally awesome.

I think Drama Nite really bonded our class...like ALOT ALOT. It's cool, y'know? To see everyone working together, to see everyone hugging each other and stuff like that. And I still remember the dinner during Drama Night. We went to go buy KFC and BK and stuff for people, while the other classes had delivery people to go deliver their food. But still...it was cool. We HAND DELIVERED the food ok! That's got to be worth SOMETHING. :D

Mmm, and maybe alot of people in our class won't get split? (That's what I'm hoping for anyway) Cos I heard that it's just like the smart ones who'll be splitted. That means our smart~~asses~~ like Ramyia, tQ, Violet, Boonie (and some other unnamed ones) will be split. I mean, that's only if what I heard was true.

Ya anyway, there was the wonderful Class Outing at West Coast Park, which was pretty awesome, and really sandy. Jiawen's friend was there... (shit I can't remember her name) About half the class was there (?), it was still fun nonetheless. (Oh I'm not saying the other half's not fun. It'll probably be MORE fun if everyone was there. HAHA. Don't take it that way) Mmm, the game was fun, and our group kept taking the other group's clue. TEEHEE (:

HELLO GUYS!it's been a pretty long time since the school term ended.well, we had our last class gathering together but many still didnt manage to turn up.but we had a fun time together rite? even though there wasnt much to play.I hope that you guys have had a really fun time together as a class, as 103.I hope you will take a few moments to read the followings:

Throughout this year, we had loads of fun together, like
trying to memorise each other's names during orientation,
contributing loads of ideasto our very first play on tsunami,
frantically trying to chorograph line-dance within 5 mins,
reserving places for your friends at night before lights out,
spending half the night chatting and gossiping with your new friends,
playing games like "spiderman arh spiderman",
sharing stationeries with your row-mates and get them really fed-up sometimes,
caring for the person who had fallen down,
working hard together as a class for all the inter-class competitions,
screaming your head off in class to get the class's attention,
took the initiative to ask for a replacement of the class's clock,
rushing off for recess as if there was no more tomorrow,
freaking out when mr chu and a bunch of prefects came in for spot-checks,
helping one another to carry all the books back right before eoys,
trying to revise all the stuff with your friends during the 30 mins before the bell rings,
wishing each other good luck at the corridor before entering the examination room,
checking all the answers with your friends after the examinations,
shivering all together before the results were released,
congratulating your friend who had done well for her papers,
crying together with the person who did not,
playing musical chairs while some were mopping the floors,
taking photos with classmates,
sitting at a corner dazing with your friends,
hugging each other tight on the last day of school,
preparing for our last class work,
put in all of our efforts and did a great job,
although we did not get first,
but we knew that we had done our very best and we are the best,
saying farewell for perhaps the last time,
sobbing deep inside our hearts as we all are going to be splited.

You might be sobbing by the time you have read till here.
I just wanna say a big THANK YOU to all 103ers.All of you have been great friends/classmates/partners/buddies/nannies etc.
THANKS for all your contributions to the class,each and everyone of you have definitely contributed a lot to the class throughout this year,even cheering up your dear classmate can be considered as a contribution.

THANKS for turning up for practices for drama nite,for all your props, and for bearing with me.

THANKS for cooperating as a class and displaying class unity.THANKS for all the little things that you have done for the class.

We are just like a 35-piece puzzle,now that the 103 puzzle is dismantled,I believed that each and every of you can be fitted into another puzzle.Getting to know more friends, widening your social circle is a good thing,but please do not forget the old ones,those who brave through the thin and thick with you.

Keep the happy memories deep down in your heart and remind yourself of them when you feel sad, although that might bring you to tears,but always remember that we had great memories as a class,something that other classes might not have.

hi all. yes. it's me AGAIN. before i continue with our story, allow me to add one part in. our wonderful SL project. *ahem ahem*

at the beginning of the year, our class decided to grow a pandan patch for our SL (service learning) project. we WERE very enthusiastic at first. yupp. we toiled we laboured, sheryl the mighty person pulled out all the grass from our tiny patch. we placed our first two pandans firmly in the soil and proudly named them xiao ben dan(little stupid??) and da ben dan(big stupid??) sorry, my chinese vocabulary is as limited as my english. anyway, the names were creatively thought up by ngaman, the crazy person of our class. if you're unsatisfied with the names, please go and look for her. we're all innocent. =PP after a while, xiao ben dan(or was it da ben dan??) was MURDERED by an RGS girl who was throwing a...discus? think so. the discus killed xiao ben dan. xiao ben dan, you're dearly missed by your loved ones. haha. mann, i sound so drama. months went pass, all of us gradually forgotten about our pandans. the pandans were dehydrated, and some died. weeds started growing on our patch, grass began growing back again. we thought it would be over by the end of this year. but "unfortunately", no. our project got chosen by ms marriette ong for our dearest sec ones next year, and we would have to sustain our tiny garden. but what has it become now? i dunno. go find out yourself, i don't dare go look at it.

ok. now i can continue. where did i stop the last time? right, RHD performance. yes, and again i must emphasise. WE WON. and our beautiful prize? one WONDERFUL pair of CHOPSTICKS. okay, so we also had national day auditions after the racial harmony day performance. but.. i'd rather not talk about it?? the school was smart enough to put both auditions so close together so... we didn't really get to work together as a class for national day auditions. yea.. sad right? if they had given us more time we would have gotten in. hmphs. then ms tay came? eh.. no... aiya! i forgotten what took place first!! yuhui, im sorry. i disappointed you. ): yea, so ms tay became our new history and cle teacher anyways. then a few weeks before the EOIs mr lim went for re-service. and we had.. ms.. sheesh, what's our relief teacher's name? gahh. ms yitong-forgotten-her-name as our teacher. (it's mrs seow!! yupp. thanks yuhui for reminding me! ((: )we were all pretty sad when she left. we also had fun with ms tay during that time ehh? but we were a little mean.. sighs. hope ms tay doesn't take it to heart. )): then came the much dreaded EOIs. but it was over in a matter of 5 days and on the last day, we got our class t-shirt!! yayy. but the t-shirt printer ain't very good with colours hor? printed PURPLE instead of PINK. we're tarbetians!! not hadley-ians. sorry i dunno how to spell. but it's ok. we're magnanimous people. we forgive and forget. haha. afterall, who doesn't make mistakes?? then came netball carn. it was much better than we expected ehh? pity jerm fell sick. else we would have performed much better on the courts. im a lousy player. HAH. we didn't expect ourselves to win TWO prizes! we got SECOND for cheering and THIRD for shooting. yes, much much better than what we thought. we thought we would not win anything. after netball carn we prepared for drama night. we practised and practised and practised and we got through the auditions. yepp. then the last day of school came. collection of progress reports. and ms tay was wearing our class t-shirt!! haha. mrs chan again "reminded" us that some of us would be splitting up. and i pray and hope it isn't me, or anyone in 103 for that matter. we got back our reports, some were relieved, some were upset. but whatever it is, three-ers would always be there for each other. we stayed back in KS chee after that, and we formed a little circle. we wanted to sing a song. and i dunno who started singing barney song. but we all sang along. it got pretty emotional i must say, although mr lim and ms tay were much amused.. drama night. i think we enjoyed ourselves most when we put on makeup ehh? and made each other looked like.. -no word to describe- once again, we must thank all those who went out to buy dinner for all 32 of us(excluding nga man and yenyee). so thanks jerm, junru, tq, aera and cheryl? yea.. i think so. we gave our best, and we got ourselves the third place. but we'll always be champions because who dares to disagree that 103 simply rawks?? only a person who is jealous of 103 would disagree. =DD
yea, so that marked the end of our sec 1 journey, as 103 05'. here, we thank all our teachers who have taught us and guided us during our first year in RGS. thank you.

our little journey is only half completed.. but we're forced to stop now. let's look back into the year... the beginning of our journey, together as a class, together as three-ers:

the first day of school, we looked at the notice board to see which class we were posted into. the 35 of us were posted into 103. how nice. we didn't even knew each other. squeezing inside the KS chee wasn't exactly very comfortable, and all of us were shocked(don't tell me you weren't) when the prefects started cheering in "men's" voices. we were all wondering "why do they sound so man??" yes, don't deny. (: but.. we found out we had to adapt a low voice after that too. which wasn't exactly very familier to us... we were all too shy to cheer so low. and there was this prefect in CMU who kept asking us to cheer "lowder" remember? yea, i know you do. anyways, we got to know our form teacher, mr lim. we were all thinking "why do we have a male as a form teacher??" right? hahaa. eh.. but mr lim isn't THAT bad lahh... then came orientation. sheesh. i still remember all the talks we had!! all so long and... interesting.... and so we learnt the school cheers, the school song, and some other songs like dedication, inspiration etc.. under the "sypervision" of our PSLs, we introduced ourselves by saying our name and one thing about ourselves. (i still can remember that i was lucky number one) then we had to have a play for "end of orientation" dear ramyia was florence nightingale?? haha. our very first class effort together. and yes, we won the bubbliest class award. and i must say that we have lived up to that title. =DD we were finally given our school crest and we had to pass the flame on from candle to candle rmb? yea.. it was memorable.. and STUFFY. imagine the hall with i dunno how many flames? i was sweating!! haha. but after that "ceremony", we were officially rafflesians. awww.....
then came the lessons. little by little, we got to know our teachers. nopee. i won't comment on our teachers. i don't wanna get sued if i say something wrong ya know..=PP term 1 passed quickly. we still didn't really know each other well. then came term 2..hanqiong left for china.. our class enrolment became 34. )): then mr wolfe had to leave for canada.(why does it seem as though everyone's leaving??) but no one else left after that. haha. after the holidays came our second project as a class, racial harmony day. we pulled through the auditions and managed to win the other classes with our enthusiastic acting and wonderful props. XD when it was announced that we were the champs, we were practically screaming our lungs off. REALLY screaming. we were just too happy. yupp. but that project got us much closer together, don't you agree?

okay, my hands are really tired from all the typing. i shall continue with the second part of our half completed journey another time. if i have left out anything in our "journey" feel free to edit this post. or the next, which i will be posting sometime soon...

thanks to everyone for going down on saturday to prepare for drama night.everyone has done a great job! script people! the script is hilarious. =D but try to shorten it coz it may be a little too long? yea.. unless we're not given a time limit.
err... everyone must be prepared to chip in some money ok? probably about $5-$10 per person coz the backdrop pple need to buy a considerabe amount of paint to paint the backdrop (one tin of paint is really expensive) and the props and make up group may need to buy some stuff too. hopefully, we will get throught the auditions. =)

heyy 103ers!! this blog is almost officially dead. yupp. i shall add some life to it. do CPR. one and two and three and four and five....shall i type out the whole lenghty process? no, i don't think i will. haha. XD
